The World Hepatitis Day event took place at Sancta Maria Hospital on July 28th, starting at 9:00 AM. The event began with an opening prayer by Nurse Miracle John and a welcome address from Dr. Fabian Okorie. Educational sessions covered the definition, types, causes, and prevention of hepatitis, followed by a Q&A session.
All 50 targeted participants (10 male, 40 female) attended, tested negative for hepatitis, and received vaccinations along with reminder cards from Power Foundation for their next dose. Interviews conducted afterward revealed strong appreciation and enthusiasm from the participants. The event ended at 12:19 PM with refreshments.
